Generative Typography / Coding
In this project, I translated the physical behavior of stitched fabric into typographic form. Using generative rules, the letters stretch, shift, and adapt, simulating how textiles naturally move and pull as they are sewn together.

Rather than creating static letterforms, the system produces evolving typographic compositions that reflect the improvisational nature of bojagi-making. Each output becomes slightly different, echoing how handmade textiles are shaped through patience, adjustment, and the accumulation of small decisions.
Through this project, I explored how code can be used as a tool to reinterpret traditional craft, allowing cultural materials and processes to be expressed through contemporary generative design.
